artist tuesday: peter lik

The first time I ever saw a photograph taken by Peter Lik was in his gallery in New York a few years ago. If you’re like me, I think it’s much more exciting to discover artists and things in general in person than through Google. Anyway, this guy rocks my world. I spent probably an hour in that gallery, gawking at such brilliant colors and unreal landscapes. He is a master. A film photographer extraordinaire. Next to portraiture, landscape is probably my favorite type of photography. Oh man what I would do to go out shooting with him! This guy is awesome, so hopefully you’ll be hooked like me!
